Branding photoshoot of my dear friend.
This was a last photoshoot before pandemic. It was a rainy day so we went to Botanical Gardens in Brooklyn.
These are beautiful photographs, not only because Jimena is a beautiful woman, but because they're showing the truth, the struggle and sadness that Jimena had back then.
Sometimes you have a plan for photoshoot and it comes out totally differently. Instead of posing and staging, I watched, I listen and I photographed. I let her be herself and open up.
The question might pop up, what are for photographs like this?
And, as I always say.. they are a proof. A proof of this hard moment and a reminder that she's overcome it.
