Emma & Frank | Non-traditional Wedding in Brooklyn

As a wedding photographer, I see more and more couples expressing themselves through their wedding celebration. I love that people follow their hearts instead of the trends. Couples choose not only a smaller, more meaningful celebration, but also create a very unique, non-traditional, and true to themselves event.

Emma and Frank did exactly that. It was a two-day celebration, and every moment was one of a kind. Dress, flowers, and hair were all made by their friends and customised to Emma’s love for cats. The first day was an elopement day in Court House in Brooklyn, followed by a photoshoot in Brooklyn Heights and the Cat Cafe. The second day was a party at the Zombie bar with family and friends. Everything was done with the intention of honoring Emma and Frank’s journey.

It was so much fun photographing two of them in their own world, surrounded by their friends. It was a privilege to be invited in.
