My photography journey started with black-and-white photography at the International Center of Photography.

I would learn how to give freedom to my subjects to reveal themselves in front of my cameras.

Portraiture photography is a very intimate process. During a portrait photoshoot, I use a variety of film cameras.

Often, it’s not easy to be the subject of the photo. Film cameras require a slower creation, which allows me to give you time to relax and be yourself.

I’ve always been interested in photographing people and having the image speak about my subject.

My background in Psychology led me to use the photograph to reveal something about the person being photographed.

A candid and free-flowing depiction of people is at the center of my work and the uniqueness of the individual is usually implied in my photographs.
